Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda,

What my fridge SHOULD look like right now, but doesn't

The start to this week didn't go quite as planned. I love spending Sundays relaxing, meal prepping and getting things done around the house. This past Sunday I worked out, had one speech therapy session and an evaluation and just like that, the day was gone! Not prepping my meals for the week has left me all discombobulated (pretty sure that is spelled wrong) and I have been scrambling to put together healthy meals for the week. Yesterday's 14 hour marathon of gym, work 1, work 2, Junior League meeting didn't help either and I enjoyed a glass of wine with the ladies, as well as some pulled pork, then a crust of a slice of Tate's pizza dinner- Not the things I need to be eating in order to be in weddingmoon shape! My woulda, coulda, shouldas need to stop and I need to make time for my health and fitness!

In order to be more accountable for the rest of the week, my meal plan follows. I typically have almonds as another snack throughout the day and will add a shake of PB chocolate casein at night if I'm still hungry! I weigh out all of my protein sources and input everything I eat into My Fitness Pal. There is also nothing like My Fitness Pal's RED numbers informing you that you have gone over your calories, sugar, and fat numbers for the day.

1: 3 eggs, chicken and salsa
2: 3 pepper and onion blend with shredded chicken

  1. I hear you girl. When I don't prep for the week, I'm a mess every morning trying to scramble for a breakfast and whatever my lunch ends up being! It's amazing how just a lil planning can really make a whole week go smoothly!!

  3. I love relaxing on Sunday and doing nothing as well. If we don't make it to the grocery by Monday evening, it usually doesn't happen and we eat out during the week...so expensive! It feels so good to make meals at home!
